Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Use prevalin as soon as you feel your body reacting to the pollen or the airborne allergen.
Apply 1 to 2 sprays into each nostril, 2 to 3 times a day.
Before using Prevalin, shake the bottle vigorously in upright position for at least 4 times.
Remove the cap from the bottle.
Prime the pump before initial use. To prime, press the white applicator down for 5-10 seconds and then release. Repeat until a full spray is obtained.
Tilt head slightly forward. Hold the bottle upright, insert the tip fully into nostril and spray once.
Spray once more if necessary.
Do this for both nostrils.
Tilt head backwards briefly after application and breathe normally through your nose.
Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.
